I created an assignment/activity menu for our Literature Circle groups using Google Docs and emailed it to my teammates for review. I think I will use Google Apps when we write our next composition and the students can peer edit and then share with me.
Glad you're trying out Google Apps. It's really convenient to be able to access it anywhere and from any platform (macs, netbooks, etc.). I think you're kids will love the interaction with each other to peer edit and share their work. Did you try creating a form? Forms could be great to use in Science to collect data and they are so easy to create!
